Ashly MA Series – päätevahvistimia asennuskäyttöön

Ravintolat, hotellit, koulutustilat, liikuntahallit yms. vaativat usein kaiutinryhmien jakoa monien erikokoisten tilojen tarpeisiin. Ashlyn MA-sarjan 4- ja 8-kanavaiset päätevahvistimet on suunniteltu tällaisiin kohteisiin.

Kahden räkkiyksikön kokoiset MA-sarjan päätteet toimivat D-luokan periaatteella, ja ne sopivat sekä suoraan kaiutinkytkentään 2, 4 ja 8 ohmin kuormilla, tai 25/70/100 voltin siirtolinjoilla operointiin. Kytkentätavan voi valita kanava kerrallaan, mikä tekee vahvistimista hyvin joustavasti muunneltavia.

Kanavat ovat perusteholtaan 250 tai 500 wattia, ja kummallakin teholuokituksella valmistetaan kahta eri mallia: nelikanavaista ja kahdeksankavaista versiota.

Siltakytkennällä päästään jopa tuhannen watin nimellistehoon lähtökanavaa kohden ja teho voidaan jakaa myös epäsymmetrisesti eri kanavien kesken.

Kehittyneellä automatiikalla vahvistin voi myös jakaa koko tehovarannon joustavasti neljälle kanavan ryhmän sisällä siinä suhteessa, kuin tehontarve ilmenee. Tehon "lainaus" muilta kanavilta on täysin dynaamista ja seuraa kulloistakin tilannetta. Kun lisääntynyt tehontarve lainaavalla kanavalla menee ohi, palauttaa vahvistin lainatehot jälleen apua tarjonneen kanavan käyttöön.

Ashlyn mukaan MA-sarja on myös energiatehokkuudeltaan eli hyötysuhteeltaan erittäin tehokas ja esimerkiksi kolmen MA2508-päätteen yhteenlaskettu 12 000 watin antoteho tarvitsee virtaa yhteensä vain 20 ampeerin verran.

MA-sarjan päätteissä käytetään Ashlyn omaa Sail-Flow-jäähdytystä, jossa ilmavirta vahvistimen sisällä ohjataan edestä sisään ja kotelon kyljistä ulos. Kulkureitti on suunniteltu eri lohkojen jäähdytystarpeiden perusteella ja valmistajan mukaan tuloksena on tehokkaampi jäähdytys ja sitä kautta vakaampi ja säröttömämpi toiminta kuin perinteisellä tuulettimen ja jäähdytysripojen yhdistelmällä.

Takalaidan audiotulot sekä -lähdöt on toteutettu EuroBlock-liittimin.
Kanavat on varustettu kytkinvalintaisin bassoleikkurein (nimellinen rajataajuus 80 Hz) ja klippauksen estävin limitterein.
